Broadband Unlimited : Connection speed halved after replaced SR102 with a ASUS DSL-N66U

Hi,

As title, I've successfully connected with a ASUS DSL-N66U and it's a definite improvement from a Wifi browser perspective but connection speed has halved...

Was getting around 14,000kbps down connection with the SR102 but only 7,555 with the ASUS (DSL log and config below). I'd really like to use the N66U's DDNS and VPN Server features which don't work if I sit it behind the SR102 so any thoughts on what might be wrong with the config are gratefully received.

I'm not sure by your stats but are you in ADSL mode and not multimode or ADSL2+?

As looking at this part of your post it looks like ADSL

Doh! I just seen your modulation is adsl2plus....do you have the latest firmware on your Asus and have you tried reseting it to factory default and starting again?

Thanks gmangt, you've helped solve the issue.

I went to load factory defaults as suggested and under the Administrators menu there was a "DSL Setting" menu I'd not noticed before...

I change the DSL Modulation from "Auto Sync-Up" to "ADSL2+" and Annex Mode from "Annex A/I/J/L/M" to just "Annex A" and I'm now back to my SR102 speeds
