I don't know how relevant it is but you seem to have a very large number of Collisions on the WAN port(101). I sometimes get collisions on my LAN port, but never on the WAN. I wonder if this is effecting the speed?

Re: Fibre Pro Unlimited Dropouts and Speed Drops.
You know, I noticed the same thing. I've actually only ever ever ever had collisions on the WAN since upgrading to Fibre.
I've sourced a HG612 (3B) and am going to give that a go in PPPoE mode when it arrives, as I've heard good things about it (especially compared to the SR102). Will update as I get more info from SKY/Openreach.
EDIT: Haha, I've just checked the SR102 and it's back to full speed..
Broadband Link Downstream Upstream Connection Speed 79987 kbps 20000 kbps Line Attenuation 13.9 dB 0.0 dB Noise Margin 6.4 dB 9.9 dB

Still getting the collisions though. I'll monitor it.

Re: Fibre Pro Unlimited Dropouts and Speed Drops.
Your WAN collisions have gone down but your LAN collisions look exceptionally high. As a comparison I have 15 collisions on my LAN, 7 attached devices, with an uptime of 24 hours. Power cut yesterday.

Re: Fibre Pro Unlimited Dropouts and Speed Drops.
Yup, the collisions have only ever been present since switching to Fibre so something must have changed somewhere in the SR102 config. Once the HG612 is here and I can confirm it's better for my connection, I'll be switching routers too (either an RT-AC88U or something pfSense based and use my current WDR3600s as Access Points still).

Re: Fibre Pro Unlimited Dropouts and Speed Drops.
Ok, so I had more line crashes this morning which pulled the speed right back down after going back to 80/20 when my SR102 firmware updated a day ago, so I've added in my HG612 (Unlocked GUI) whilst it was messing about as it wouldn't make a real difference being down for an extra 5 minutes.
The line stats on the HG612 are:
Downstream Upstream Downstream Upstream Line rate (kbit/s) 78141 20000 0 0 CRC errors 0 0 0 0 FEC errors 2079 0 0 0 HEC errors 168 0 0 0
And:
Downstream Upstream Attainable rate (kbit/s) 78136 25999 SNR margin (dB) 6.3 9.6 Line attenuation (dB) 13.8 0 Output power (dBmV) 14.3 6.2
The FEC and HEC errors were there almost as soon as it connected and have been increasing slowly over the last 15-20 minutes.
Thoughts?
EDIT: This is only a few minutes later.. :
Downstream Upstream Downstream Upstream Line rate (kbit/s) 78141 20000 0 0 CRC errors 0 0 0 0 FEC errors 6833 15 0 0 HEC errors 27493 0 0 0
Downstream Upstream Attainable rate (kbit/s) 76240 25888 SNR margin (dB) 5.8 9.5 Line attenuation (dB) 13.8 0 Output power (dBmV) 14.2 6.2

Re: Fibre Pro Unlimited Dropouts and Speed Drops.
Collisions generally occur if you have half duplex on one side and full duplex on the other, but I'd have thought modern non-enterprise gear wouldn't have this problem, and I can't recall being able to set these kinds of settings on the Sky hubs.

Re: Fibre Pro Unlimited Dropouts and Speed Drops.
I did check whether that was causing the collisions but everything is set to full duplex and you're right, the SR102 seems to lack the options anyway.

Re: Fibre Pro Unlimited Dropouts and Speed Drops.
The fault is still present. The drops have started again and SKY have confirmed an external fault again.
