Intermittent Problem
Just recently (the last couple of days) my broadband, which is usually very stable, has been dropping. My router (Sagemcom F@ST2504n) which is a few years old, shows a solid red internet light instead of the usual green. It reconnects, without a reboot after a few minutes. This has already happened twice today and 2 or 3 times yesterday. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Intermittent Problem
Fault on the router or on the line. How is your line for noise? Dial one digit and listen, you should hear nothing except maybe a very faint hum. You should use a cordless phone as a wireless one can create its own noise.
Do you have another router you could try?

Seems OK.

Unfortunately not.
