Sky Broadband Unlimited ADSL and Draytek Vigor 2860n

Hi Guys

I have Sky Broadband Unlimited ADSL, I understand that you can use your own router with the ADSL service but not with the Fibre. I have a Draytek 2860n which I wish to use with by Sky Broadband. I have got my password and username from the sky router.

Using the supplied Sky SR102 router I get a connection speed of 20mb Download and 1.2mb upload. Using the Draytek I can only get a download speed of 1.5mb . Can anyone shed any light on why this is?

I have used the setting for 3rd party routers, I have also tried the O2 settings but still no joy.

Check that you are using ADSL2+. Also make sure your setting for the Multi-PVC Channel is correct. Finally check your ADSL cable is OK, use the one from the Hub.
