Should a BTO engineer attend to a property that have never had broadband before?
My mum is due to go live today for Sky Talk and Broadband. The proprty has never had broadband services in the past. Should a BTO engineer be attending to make sure that the master socket is suitable for broadband?

If it has a socket that an ADSL microfilter can be plugged into then it will be suitable, though it may not be ideal.

Most master sockets will be fine with ADSL broadband as long as the supplied micro filter is used, it's extensions and DIY extension wiring that tend to cause any issues, which BTO are not responsible for anyway.
