BELKIN N300 Help

Hi,
My old sky router is about dead so bought a BELKIN N300 I have have generated username and password but am absolutely lost on what to do I have and can connect to it but have no internet access Ive accessed the 192.168*** page but from there im stuck . i anyone who can help will be amazing.

The BELKIN N300 is a router only, it doesn't have a modem built in. You will need to exchange it for a modem router to use it on ADSL.

it says on box with built in modem
i connected to my netwrk and used cm9 generatro but after that im lost where to put info as just says no internet access all the time

Sorry about that, the only N300 I could find on their webpage was the one I linked to. It appears there is an N300 modem/router as well.
Here is its User manual, have you tried following that?

Yeah no good i can connect to network but no internet access, went to cm9 and used generator but after that im stuck what to do with it

From the link you provided, the correct manual for your router is:

It seems to expect you to use the CD to set it up.Have you tried this?

It says you can set it up using your browser, but goes into no detail on how to do this.

Can you log into the router at 192.168.2.1 and get to the menu system.(username and password both admin I believe) If you can there should be an option for a setup wizard at the top.

Unfortunately as I don't have this router I am only trying to work from what I can find on the web. Looks like you may need to wait and see if anyone else with the same router comes along.

If you have made the following settings, you should be able to connect.
Get correct username and password
Encapsulation......PPPoA
VPI.......................0
VCI......................38
Multiplexing..........VC-Mux
MTU....................1500.

Go to page 6 in the manual to find out how to do this.
