Well, i've had sky BB for awhile now (had huge problems at the start, faulty router in the end, go figure) and today my laptop started acting odd, so I thought i'd give it a wipe and start clean, all fine.
I notice it says in the taskbar "Wireless Connection Avalible" so I click it, it comes up and shows "Avalible Wireless Connections: Sky12345" ok, box underneath "Network Key and Confirm Network Key" I enter my network keys and it comes up saying
"The network password needs to be 40bits or 104bits depending on your network configuration. This can be entered as 5 or 13 ascii characters or 10 or 26 hexadecimal characters"
?? My network Key was correct, I even tried changing it in 192.168.0.1 fiddled with the settings, changed channels, changed to just G, and 108, admitadly I havn't tested all channels but I got the idea after 1-6 (6 was defult).
Windows Professional XP
Geforce 7950 GX2 (got two of em')
Windows Home Edition XP
So, any ideas? I will be seatching your forums while waiting for a reply but so far i've turned up nothing... Cheers in advance.

How can I update to SP2 without the net? I usually have it through auto updates? I'll go have a look around now, cheers.

Ok, I updated to SP2 but it still says the same thing, and I know it works as I had it working before I wiped the laptop... Ill try updating the driver.

Ok, sorry for the triple post but I got it to work.
I logged into the router and saw it was on WPA-PSK? and the laptop wanted a WEP or W?? key, so I changed it to WPA, entered a passphrase, applied, entered new key on laptop and woo, wireless working .
