Yes but you would probably be paying £15 per month for broadband and still be paying someone else for telephone line rental whereas if you changed to Sky talk (and they dropped the no TV surcharge) you could be paying half that.
If you approached Sky with the intention of moving your broadband to your current provider you may even be given the option of paying upfront line rental as an incentive to stay.

Another angle to look at , asking sky to do the line swap from BT to sky line rental, what further contact with BT would we have, with regarde that BT advaced line rental would be almost up by the time of the switch to sky, and nothing would be owed.
Even the calls money would be taken by DD on the last month of contract ending. So do we just walk away so to speak from BT.His name was nut, Mr P Nut.

Re: Sky broadband without tv
There shouldn't be any requirement to contact BT but keep an eye on your bills to ensure charges are as expected during the changeover period.

You don't need to give BT notice to leave but if you are still within a minimum contract period there may be an early termination charge.
As you have already paid 12 months advance line rental I do not see how BT can apply an additional charge for line rental but there may be a charge in relation to a calls plan which would be charged on a daily basis for the time that the contract had still to run. Any remaining line rental payment is lost so would not be used to offset this charge.
