Same problem here, having to reboot the router a number of times. IP 90.197.75.***, can't find any problems my end...
Anyone know if Sky are doing anything to resolve this in the near future?
Got 5 days left of my "cooling off period" and still subscribed to NTL so not sure what to do at the moment....

Re: Slow page loading times
All pages very slow to load in comparison to my previous BT connection.
Especially at peak times they remind me of my 28.5k modem back in the day!
ip 90.197
SPeedcheckerd still ginving normal readings tho, just browsing the problem. If it stays like this for long I think its my get out clause.

Re: Slow page loading times
Consider flushing your DNS cache and/or using an alternative DNS server.

Re: Slow page loading times
I was having issues with accessing both mine and my wife's websites, as it was coming up with a 404 not found everytime. In addition I was also getting occasional issues accessing other websites (where I was refreshing 3-4 times to get them shown)
I then discovered however that Sky's router only appears to be only querying 1 DNS server (IP address 87.86.189.16, which resolves to cns1.sky.com) (our previous ISP had both a primary and secondary DNS) - and I suspected that this was causing the issues.
I then switched to using OpenDNS.org's DNS servers (by setting them up locally on my machine) as my primary and secondary DNS and lo and behold, the websites have now started working, and so far, the intermittant connection problems appear to have also gone away.

Re: Slow page loading times
Hi,
I've just gone live on BB Max and am experiencing many slow pages and some (particularly on ebay, national lottery & any involving https addresses) failing to load at all! Is this common as if it is, I wish i'd stuck to the much more expensive but quick NTL BB.
Where would I find the IP details (sorry to ask a dense question but am not overly technical). I did call up something on internet options that included IP address, subnet something or other but all fields were blank.
Cheers,
Pubplunger.

Re: Slow page loading times
Hi all,
I would like to see if my set-up is up to speed on Connect - what's the best speed test software I should use? - and what results should I be aiming for?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Slow page loading times
Hi Satdish
I also have been getting slow page loading, it as been noticable slower for the past week. My downloads are also slower.
My connection keeps droping and the only way to rectify this is to reboot my router and refresh it.
I called tech support 3 times and e-maild them. they gave me number of things to try and in the end gave me a ticket No and told me someone would contact me in the next 5 days to test my line.

Re: Slow page loading times
It may be total co incidence but on IE6 and 7 and Firefox 2 the page loading is always a lil sticky and graphics slow to low on occassions, I happened to download Flock on photobucket based on Firefox version Firefox/1.5.0.9 Flock/0.7.10.1 and I immediately noticed that this is the quickest page loading browser version I have had to date!! My router stats are unchanged and the noise level is steady at 7/8 SNR, either that or Sky have done something I don't know about to the line although I have never contacted help at Sky? Any ideas why?
