Hope people are still replying on this. We use a Sky Sagem router, wireless. Lately it has been purgatory waiting for websites to open. Some days it is fine, some days impossible. Yesterday it was so bad I hooked up my laptop directly to the router using an ethernet cable and suddenly I was able to open websites again. I unplugged the cable and the problem continued. The icons are showing a great connection and good download speeds but the reality is totally different. The info you seem to need is as follows:
Router Status - 1.9Sky
IP Address - 90.220.89
Package - Broadband Mid
Exchange - Morpeth
Any ideas? Any other info I need to find that would help?

To be honest you would be better posting in the Help Section including your stats. This 'Slow Loading' ran its course some time ago. Most cases now are down to individual settings and not exchange problems as they were a few years ago.

if its only just gone active you will probably be on DLM for around 10 days whilst it tests your line to see what it can handle. Max customers start on 4Mb and DLM works its way up. If you post your router stats in a new thread we'll know more.

You should have been advised by letter that your line would be training for 10 days, with further instructions not to switch the router off during this period. Switching off will disrupt the training process.
Post your stats from your normal position and if you have phone extensions, from the Test socket, link below. We can then give you an idea of what your line can deliver. If you are very close to the exchange you should get 20Mb down 1.3Mb up when your line finishes training.

Post your router stats because if it is a line fault it won't matter who you go with.

There has been an appreciable slowing down when connecting opening my browser and therefore did a speed check on Sky User: (Mid band user £5.00 a month)

Average supposed to be according to Sky User
Upload 3756
Download 304
Who can I contact at Sky in order that this can be investigated?
