Slow page loading times

Is that a general "moan" - if so please post to the unhappiness forum and not to this thread which is about slow page loading times.

If however you're after advice on whether whatever problem you have can be remedied, then I'm afraid that's not possible as you've not supplied one single useful piece of info about your connection.

Slow page loading times in the evening, seems to have started a few weeks ago. Usually followed by a short disconnection, although the router usually reconnects after a few seconds without needing a reboot. Still slow page loading times after that, for a while.

Mines been playing up for a week now

page 12 took 55 seconds for everything to load, page 13 32 seconds and this page a super fast 1 minute 45

Oh and i have had to stop using youtube becuase its constantly stops and starts and it makes me wanna smash my pc up. My email also gives timeouts and failed to connect

also my downloads speeds are awesome so i dont know whats happining

Well mine is ok now

I turned off UPNP and restarted my router and everything is back to normal

I dont know why UPNP has only just started giving me problems though becuase i have had it on since i went on Sky BB

Had Sky Mid package for a week after moving from BT option one 8meg product and I am also experiencing very slow page loading mainly after 20.00hrs in a number of cases the page has 'timed out' To date I have re-booted the router 19 times in some cases I have also re-booted mt PC.

I had a direct BB connection put in by BT to by-pass my house wiring and had no issues such as this with the BT product any thoughts apart from calling the help desk who it seems are hell bent on blaming the house cabling, the PC, my installation and of course the fact that I use Firefox Browser etc etc

I am currently using the wireless set-up which is some 60cm distance from the PC!

Any thoughts, ideas all welcome

I have slow web page loading times and also loose internet connection frequently sometimes I cannot conect again for up to an hour.

I have been having problems with Sky Broadband for about a week now. Basically the same thing as described in the last post, very slow connection, and frequent disconnection, and I am not able to reconnect for up to an hour at times.

I called them today, but was told that someone would call me in 3-5 days. I'm not pleased at all, but will wait and see. It seems the problems are general to Sky's broadband service.
