Slow page loading times

Same here, pages are extremely slow at times.
I have done lots of speed tests and never managed more than 1.5m
My router is reporting a connection of 3.8m.
Sky are trying to blame my PC and doing there best to say it's a problem my end.
They even told my to get my PC check, like I'm going to pay someone to tell me that the PC I built 3 weeks ago has problems when its got a AMD 3400+ CPU and 1.5g of RAM, get real!

My router shows a line speed of over 7Mbps but I never manage more than 2-2.5Mbps on downloads. I get similar d/l speeds when mobile on my T-Mobile Vario II!!!
So many pages hang at 'Waiting...', sometimes for 10-20 seconds. Not what I'd call 'high-speed Internet'
Maybe there's massive congestion on Sky's servers? Hopefully this will improve?

My main PC is LAN connected to the router and I use my PPC over wifi. The results for Namesco BB speedtest can be found here: Namesco BroadbandMax Bandwidth speedtest | Test your ADSL connection speed (6355kb/s and 335kb/s) which are quoted as MUCH faster than speedtest.net which has given speeds of 3158kb/s and 315kb/s within seconds of running the Namesco tester. I haven't run the optimiser, I'll do that now...

I'm still getting great lags in page loading, particularly noticable when trying to load any of Sky's own pages
Do they have problems with their servers? Are there more of 'us' than they can cope with given their infrastructure?

Latest Namesco results: Namesco BroadbandMax Bandwidth speedtest | Test your ADSL connection speed which gave me 2519k down & 344k up so I can't see the lag relates directly to connection speed.

@reddwarfcrew - you never did post back with an opinion after I posted my router stats, although I'm sure as sure can be that it's not a problem at my end

Ive been with Sky 20 days now and have tried almost every tip and trick on here to no avail. Sky customer support tell me to reboot, connect via Ethernet etc, but I wnat to connect via Wireless. I had no problem slike this when with BT Broadband.
