Adsl or Adsl+
Is there a way to find out which flavour of adsl i am on, using the line speed calculator i get a result of 3 to mbps on adsl+2 with a line attenuation of 61.5db
SamKnows gives the following info about my exchange (NDLON ) but i don't see any reference to adsl+2
BT Wholesale information
ADSL status: Enabled as of 28/02/2001 ADSL Max status: Enabled as of 31/03/2006 SDSL status: Not available 21CN WBC status: Not available FTTC status: Available in some areas FTTP status: Available in some areas
what i would like to know is if i am on standard or the + version if this is possible from the info from SamKnows

Re: Adsl or Adsl+
If you are on BT then you would be on ADSL Max (up to 8Mb).
On BT 21CN WBC is the name of their ADSL2+ service.
If you are on Sky broadband Unlimited you will be on ADSL2+ (up to 24Mb).
If you have broadband Connect then you will be on ADSL Max.
Your exchange has both Sky and TalkTalk who both use only ADSL2+ in their own network areas.Last edited by bubblegun; 11-08-14 at 10:36 PM. Reason: checked exchange on samknows

Re: Adsl or Adsl+
On ADSL your sync speed figures would be divisible by 32.
On ADSL 2+ they won't be.
