Re: Sky BB lite usage limit email
It should only be available for Connect and Home Lite customers. I can't personally check it myself

Re: Sky BB lite usage limit email
Yeah I was referring to my Mum again who is on Lite, she received an emailed about going over her 2GB limit even though she has been away at her caravan for the last month! but I can't view her usage because it says unavailable? Although I have now received this email from Sky :-)
'We have identified a system issue where some of our Broadband Lite customers have received an email advising that they have recently exceeded their monthly usage limit. This email was sent in error therefore please accept our apologies and disregard this notification on this occasion.

Phew! Those system errors are a real pain.
At least she doesn't face the possibility of being forced to Sky Broadband Unlimited any time soon.

Re: Sky BB lite usage limit email
It's TWICE in 6 months NOT 3 times to get Auto-Upgraded.
If you do get upgraded you can request to downgrade after 1 month. There is some mis-information about the downgrade policy - it doesn't matter how much you've used during the month on unlimited as long as you agree to keep under the 2Gb limit after the downgrade. Some advisors seem to think that you cannot downgrade unless you are already below 2Gb which is wrong. Why shouldn't you use loads since you are being charged for unlimited?
Apparently there were some problems with the usage tool last week.
Many accounts on unlimited were showing the total of the last 12 months usage for the current month. Like someone averaging 90Gb per month showing about 1Tb of usage suddenly.

Thanks for the correction bubblegun. I always thought that it was 3 times.
