Basically if you go for SFU you should have no problems getting the full 40/10 connection speed, provided that your wiring is in good order of course.

If you intend on going for the "up to 76mb" product or SFUP, then the estimate is saying that at best you can expect 50.7mb. Remember that this is an estimate. Most people would get a little more, but it could drop. Some have got a little less.

Provided that everything goes well you could see 60-65mb, however this might not be the case.

I would also recommend a VDSL filtered faceplate. You could get this now as they work with both ADSL and VDSL/FTTC.
