I have a Sky Hub - will it improve my ?DownStream Connection Speed"?
I have a seagem router (i think it is) from sky. It's the dark grey one with divots all over it like a golf ball.
I have the wifi on this turned off and i have it connected via ethernet to an apple airport router which i use for wifi as it has a much better strength.
I've recently got a sky hub, but I am unsure if i should be using it or not.
As i am not using the wireless function of my router, will i see an improvement on the 'DownStream Connection Speed' which is reported in the router setup page if I switch over to the sky hub?

You might see a difference but it will be no more than a few kbs. On the other hand, it may actually loose a few kbs. You wont know till you try.

Without knowing your current connection stats I wouldn't want to say one way or the other.
It would be fair to say that if you have changed the microfilters and are reasonably close to the exchange, there is a good possibility that the new DLM software will improve things a little.
Improvements such as G.INP are supported on the Sky Hub, whereas they were not supported on your old Sagem 2504 router. These can help to improve things on the correct connection.
