Help me it you can, my speeds are down, down
Sorry for the Beatles title, but I was wondering if anyone can help.
have had Unlimited broadband since start of December and the speed is appalling.
Currently my download speed is 2.5, while upload is 0.9.
Previously, we only lived half a mile away (and a bit closer to the local exchange), but the speed was substantially better.
Contacted Sky and have gone through everything they suggested, but to no avail.
Operator suggested upgrading to fibre, but don't fancy paying more for something that I should have now.
Any suggestion? Nowt too techy tho chaps.

Hi.
Can you post your router stats please.
That's connection speed, line attenuation & noise margin for both downstream & upstream.
Also, how far does this checker say you are from the exchange:
