Using normal broadband the adsl cable plugs in to the SR101 then my Ethernet cables go to my hard wired devices.
If you switch to Fibre I presume you do not use the adsl plug so how does the fibre cable attach, does it use one of the ethernet plugs.
Just asking as my 4 orts are all used at the minute.

Re: What router advice please
Since Sky are now supplying the SR102 for new Fibre customers, the process in your case would be as follows:
- Ship SR102 to customer before 'live date'
- Once the SR102 arrives manually put on any custom settings on the new router which were on the SR101
- Next simply swap out the SR101 and connect up the SR102 with the new microfilters or with a new VDSL filtered faceplate (you should purchase this as it is far better than the filters)
- The SR102 can take up to an hour to connect for the first time, this is to be expected
Otherwise there is no difference.
The default WiFi settings will be different to the SR101 in respect of the Wireless name and password. You are free to change these. Personally I do recommend people do change them as the default is "SKYxxxx" and the password is always 8 capital letters. This makes it easier for hackers IMHO.
When the switch over happens your connection will drop for a period of time. This can be anything from 10 minutes to a couple of hours.
