I don't quite follow.
ADSL has a maximum connection speed of 8128kbps, if the router is set to that mode, it cannot possibly get 13000kbps. If it is the router is not reporting correctly.

'ADSL' is just what that connection is called on the O2 Router connection page (to tie in with what it used to be on O2 Access). The mode it connects at are defined by the exchange equipment, there is nothing in the router settings to force it to that.

Re: Help wanted!!
Ahh, the O2 router is tied down the same way as the Sky ones then, where access to the full settings is blocked. The routers are probably set to MultiMode in the hidden settings, which would allow them to connect to whichever mode was available from the exchange.

Help wanted!!
I don't know half as much as some of the people on here but but I know that adsl peaks at 8128kbps so when the router connected with this setting the first thing I did was check the connection speed and not within the router but at my side using the equipment we have to check customers connections. Must admit I was a little confused but there was no change in the speed at all.
