Would I benefit from a router upgrade ?.
Hi, I have had SBU for around 6-7 years, also using the original modem/router supplied by Sky which is:- "Netgear V1 DG834GT". As I have little chance of Fibre, I am on E/O lines and my BB speed is a pathetic
7-8 meg, I am wondering if a new modem/router would help my speed and wireless.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks for looking.

Re: Would I benefit from a router upgrade ?.
It would help your wireless, but it would do little for your speed. I also have a GT which syncs at exactly the same speed as the very latest SR102. If you call Sky and tell them your router is beginning to fail you should be offered a free replacement (probably the SR101) provided you are willing to sign up for a further 12 month contract. You would be expected to pay for P&P, about £2.80.
