Attached Devices list is empty
Hi there,
Been having Xbox Live issues where is just randomly disconnects every 5 minutes so thought I would try and give my xbox a static IP and do some port forwarding. However upon navigating to LAN IP Setup the list is blank so I cannot select my Xbox.
Checking the attached devices table via the maintenance tab also returns no attached devices.
I've tried restarting the router (SR101) multiple times, resetting it (holding down the button for 10 seconds until the power flashes) but still no luck.
My firmware version is 1.15j.2639.R
I'm using a Mac also if that makes any difference.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
Thanks!

Re: Attached Devices list is empty
Is your Xbox able to access the internet? You are sure you are connecting to your own network and not a neighbour? Might seem a stupid question, but it has happened before that a user has connected to a neighbour's router without realizing it.

Re: Attached Devices list is empty
Yes my Xbox is able to access the internet, as mentioned I get disconnected from Xbox Live at random intervals but can connect again.
No definitely connected to our network, only Sky router in vicinity.
Not using home plugs anywhere on the network.
There are 3 laptops, 3 iPhone's, 1 iPad, an Xbox 360 and a PS3 all connected to this router and the attached devices list is still empty. The PS3 is connected with an RJ45 cable and it's also not in the list.

Re: Attached Devices list is empty
I think a call to Sky support is required, there is obviously something wrong if your various devices are connecting but are not shown in the attached list. Having devices listed as Unknown is quite common, but not an empty list. They may download updated firmware to you or send a replacement.

Re: Attached Devices list is empty
Using a laptop, are you able to use Windows Media Player to stream some MP3s to your Xbox?
If you don't have Windows installed, try downloading something such as Skifta to you iPad or an iPhone. This should be able to find your Xbox and play the music, confirming 100% that it is on the same network.

Re: Attached Devices list is empty
Sorry for the delayed response I shall try this today.
As mentioned though, the Sky router is the only one to appear when searching for networks, all the other ones are BT home hubs or talk talk.
I will get back to you on the above though, I have used the Xbox Smartglass app which lets you connect your iPad to your Xbox 360 to watch videos and interact with online games so it would seem they are on the correct network.

Re: Attached Devices list is empty
Same problem here - nothing at all showing in Attached Devices even though I know several devices are connected and working properly. I have the same version of firmware, 1.15j.2639.R.
Legend101 - did you find a solution for this?
