Not as good as it should be but now do the same test with full Windows mode.

those speed test results indicate speed ok for current line readings , but now check router stats and watch the snr readings if you see them changing then that would indicate interference which would cause slow down

It is noticeable that your speed increased after 10pm, which could indicate a peak time exchange problem. How is your speed in the morning or early afternoon?

Yes I have monitored it and from about 10pm till I go to bed 2am it speeds up. I don't use the internet in the mornings. From the afternoon it is slow and sluggish and the lights flicker constantly on the modem.

Could you let us know when telephone exchange you are connected to please? It may help if you can give us the exchange code.

There are no current reports of slow exchanges, but a handful of members, including myself, who can chase this up with someone in sky to find out specifically what is happening for you.

You could try installing Router stats light, to track your speed. This will only monitor your sync speed, but if your sync stays constant and your actual speed drops, this would prove a throughput issue.
