Slow connection speed
I had a problem for a few days last week with my connection dropping out intermittently. This seems to have stopped but my connection speed now appears much lower than I'm used to (normally would be 5-6 mb as opposed to about 3mb as per router stats below).

Any help or advice would be appreciated. I'm using a wired connection for my desktop. I do not have a telephone point with a test socket incidentally, though the one the router is using connects directly to the BT junction box on the wall outside my flat.

Re: Slow connection speed
Looks like your line has degraded. The SNR reading is showing its stable at 3.1Mbps but the line speed isn't going to go any higher than the current speed. Are you connected to the master socket? If not please connect your router to the master socket and post the statistics.

Re: Slow connection speed
Thanks for the reply. I don't think there is a master socket in the flat. The socket the router is plugged into runs directly from the junction box on the wall outside ( I live in a block of purpose built flats).
I'm about 2.5km from the local exchange so I'm not expecting anything lightning fast but the speed I'm currently getting seems pretty miserable. The speed tests I've done indicate that I'm not even connecting at the 3 meg+ indicated by the router stats - more like 2.5 - 2.7 meg. It's reasonably ok for everyday stuff but trying to stream anything is next to useless at times.
