What websites does Sky now block

Have you tested the link using UK Proxy sites? It may well be that the link between the UK and Press TV was broken, not Sky. Next time it happens could I suggest that you use 'tracert' to see where it is specifically being stopped.

OK, I will - thanks for the suggestion and intriguing idea. Do you have any suggestions for free and safeish UK proxies? The one I use is either HMA or a paid for one on my system. I guess I could set up Tor if necessary.

OK, I have followed Scubbie's kind suggestion earlier to run a trace route on a blocked site to determine where the blockage is occurring. Which brings me to the next issue, understanding it! Would anyone here be so kind as to inform me, what the issue is on this occasion?

To my knowledge, rapidmoviez isn't a site that sky are blocking.

It's just one of those that hasn't updated their systems to account for the relatively new block of ip addresses (starting with 5) that sky recently acquired.

I can't double check for you as my ip address starts with 5 & i can't reach the site either.

Are Sky customers just supposed to guess or carry out an investigation themselves to find out if a site has been blocked or not by Sky

Sky have a site, previously linked in this thread, giving a list of sites blacklisted through court order. The list is updated as and when a new block is applied.
