Re: Drop Outs
Some simple questions initially for you:
Which version of the firmware is on the Sky Hub please? http://192.168.0.1/sky_router_status.html
The current version being rolled out is: 1.15j.2639.R
Do you have any noise on your line? To check this out, plug a corded telephone into the Test Socket ( Sky User - How to test your Master Socket ), dial '1' and listen for any noise. Ideally it should be totally silent, but it is acceptable to hear a little background hiss and perhaps a high pitched noise like a fax machine.
If you have any noise on the line, such as clicking or loud hissing, then you have a potential line fault. You should call your line provider (whom ever you pay the line rental to).
Another potential problem would be indicated when someone calls out or calls in on the telephone. Again if this is the issue, then you should call your line provider.
Let us know whether any of the above has identified a potential cause or not. Could you also post your router's connection stats please:

Re: Drop Outs
Where were those stats taken from? i.e. Master socket, Test socket or an extension?
Also it will be important to confirm the line quality too.

Re: Drop Outs
On the face of it no immediate difference, although looking more deeply, the Noise Margin on the download side has risen, indicating that perhaps the Faceplate has deteriorated.
Let us know about the quiet line test first, but i thing that you would benefit from replacing the faceplate or fitting a filtered faceplate.

Re: Drop Outs
Hmmm... I'm a little puzzled.
There is another potential source of a problem. It is known as REIN. Could you read this article and use a suitable radio to see if you can locate a potential source for the drop outs you are getting:
::. Kitz - REIN .::
If REIN is the problem it can come from a wide range of electrical devices. In the past the following (and more) have all been linked: old TV in neighbour's house some distance away; street lamps; traffic lights; mobile charger; DECT phone; microwave oven; AMP.
