I've had a SS for 18 months. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It might work for 15 minutes or 15 days but it always fails. I've tried many methods of correcting this problem (recommendations here and on other forums). I've settled on unplugging the SS from the 240v supply for 12 hours which I assume is making all the equipment find new IP addressing. This seems to work but isn't acceptable - the SS isn't really fit for purpose. I've used it with a couple of different routers so it seems independent of equipment.

When I used yo have one of these (SS v.2) when I was (briefly) with VF, it used to take between 60-90 mins to configure itself before I could actually use. It often went down as well.
