Ouch indeed - my old place had 100mb Virgin broadband! i am lucky to get 7 here..its a new build house that cannot get Fibre full stop in a well established Town/City. Looks like i will have to move or get 4G to breach the 7 mb/s connection i am currently on

Sadly one product which Sky doesn't do is paired lines. They have recently bought Be (the deal has still to be signed off and agreed by regulators) who were selling this product. You may wish to look around and consider something like that if you are going to stay where you are for a while.
Essentially a paired line it two telephone lines, with a single router connected to both. The connection speed will effectively double.
However you will need to pay two lots of line rental too.
