Very Slow Broadband Speed Yet again

Router says I am getting 17.4 meg dl speed and 1.1 meg upload speed. However once again my connection is less than 4mb after 4pm. This is getting beyond a joke now. Last year it stayed this slow for over a month, despite promises my connection would give me the full speed. I have contacted Sky and they refuse to acknowledge that theres a problem as the line passes its check. I am not lying and know enough about the internet and laptops to know that it is not an equipment problem.

Has anyone else got this problem as well ? My friend who lives 8 miles away also has the same problem. I am out of contract so free to leave for a new ISP if i wish to. Please sort this mess out Sky

geting 14meg go down to 2 meg time to time i not see the full speed at all Just signed up to the Broadband and i checker my post it Says it's fine not affected

When you say 'time to time' do you mean randomly, or are the slow speeds confined to peak hours, say 5pm - 11pm?

randomly the speed gymno its but at 8pm very bad the max speed test was 14meg in my old flat was 17meg all day and nght on bt full speed Download on bbc i play full speed but now in the new flat 3 meg on bbciplay

It's unlikely to be the congestion problem some people are having, so it's not related to the first post in this thread.

As you're using wireless, it could be interference.
It might be best to start a new thread.
