Internet Light Green cannot browse (Multiple routers)
Hi
Just wondering if anyone is having similar issues to my own.
I have a Netgear dg934g which has power light green, Internet light green and wireless light green. Yet i still cannot connect to the internet.
Done the basics reset, session kill etc however still cannot connect.
I can connect to the router but not to the internet.
The interesting part is two of my friends have the exact same router and have the exact same issue which is making me think this could be a common problem.
Any one else having this?

Put your code in the box to see if there is an issue - http://servicestatus.sky.com/serviceupdates

Re: Internet Light Green cannot browse (Multiple routers)
It does not have to be the same exchange, some problems can effect several exchanges in an area. That is why it is always advisable to include your exchange name or code in your Profile. There may be a reported problem which you have missed.
The update idea is a thought, Sky very often get their router upgrades wrong and break things which were not broken.

Re: Internet Light Green cannot browse (Multiple routers)
My friend is in the north of England and im am in Central Scotland so I dont think it would be a daisy chain outage.
Just checked with my friend who says they are on 2.02.44 aswell so I'll try the router recovery software and see if it works

Re: Internet Light Green cannot browse (Multiple routers)
I am pretty sure that is the firmware which has been on the Netgear site for a long time now, but Sky did not release it. I installed it on a DG934g, but as soon as I went on line, Sky downgraded it again a few hours later. I must say I did not have any problem connecting with it. Can you check if it makes WPA2 available in the wireless encryptions? That was one of the updates from the previous firmware.
