Re: Good Connection or Bad?
lol - I know of too many stories about VM's bad habits and messed up customer services. When I last looked around for a new ISP/telephone provider, I wasn't aware that I couldn't get VM but had already put them at the bottom of the list.
What I have learnt from others since I chose Sky hasn't convinced me otherwise.
@Smir: The first time that you connect the Sky Hub SR101 to the Internet it performs a variety of things. This will explain they restarting that the router went through.
I do not have a comprehensive list, but you can include things like gaining access to the Sky servers for the first time, updating the firmware and choosing between MER (1st choice) and PPPoA.

Re: Good Connection or Bad?
The first one was a reset around 3 in the morning - in line with DLM doing it's job.
The 2nd was a complete reset. It also happened previously looking at the 1st set of stats. Make sure that the power lead is plugged in properly and that there is no loose connection between the router and the wall socket if you are using an extension.

It looks like to are connecting and disconnecting things via the Ethernet ports. If this is the case or you are turning on or off whatever is connected to then, then there is no harm.

Re: Good Connection or Bad?
I was also thinking along the lines that perhaps the socket which the Hub is plugged into may be loose or perhaps the wiring suspect. Alternatively, since there was the power cut, is it possible that there was a 2nd brief flicker on the mains power supply?
It is possible that the router may be faulty. Could I ask that you monitor the situation?
If this happens again then you will need to contact Sky. Be prepared to go through their 'Sky Answers' crib sheet. Explain that you have had the router connected over a period of time and that it has rebooted when no one has been around and that you suspect that it is the router.

Re: Good Connection or Bad?
Socket 2 and 3 which I believe would be the middle two both have Sky Ethernet cables connected to them and connect to sky and PS3, 1 and 4 are my own cables and are smart TV and PC.
I do have a spare Sky hub, as I still received the hub for my fibre order even though they messed it up and had to cancel the order.
What does the on demand light represent on the hub? As it randomly comes on and off.
Last night I was playing CSS and it cut out on me.. There was no power flicker as I was on the PC at the time an no lights or anything flickered I watched the hub as all the lights turned off except the top one.
