A quick update from myself.
My connection speed appears to be back to normal. I'm not sure if it was someone within sky who fixed it or DLM has finally worked, but my line was reset at 2.17am today and now my stats are:
Broadband Link Downstream Upstream Connection Speed 19997 kbps 1157 kbps Line Attenuation 18.0 dB 10.1 dB Noise Margin 6.0 dB 8.8 dB
Finally back to where I was a year ago.

pmsl - We both wish.
Perhaps one day soon BTO will install Fibre cabinets in my area. I've been watching the Internet site roadworks.org. Sadly there are still no planned roadworks by BT close enough to where I live. However there is quite a lot of activity elsewhere in the area.
This seems to be the best unofficially way to find out what is happening since BTO won't publish the dates anywhere on-line for us to see.
