My Sky
Sorry If this is the wrong section.
Recently got my My Sky up and going, Never used it since forgetting my log in stuff.
On the broadband page, I can't see anywhere what my estimated speed is.
What I do have is this -
Your Connection Details
Testing on your broadband connection began on 03/07/2012 and will be completed within 10 days.
You may notice some variations in your broadband speed and this is normal. We are aiming to give you the best quality experience. Please leave your router on during this time.
Check back here to confirm the maximum speeds supported by your connection.
Any Solutions?
Thanks.Last edited by cooliocool2; 23-11-12 at 11:57 AM.

Re: My Sky
Apart from the actual date mine is the same. DLM training was run again on many lines when the default 7db was dropped by DLM. For most whose line could take it, this resulted in an increase in speed.

Re: My Sky
I may get back in contact, When I Had my upload increased to 900kb, back in april, and only just noticed its back down to 700 something kb, so i'll give them a bell, its a minor increase but upload is valuable to me.
Still strange why My Sky not displaying anything about my Broadband Speed.

Re: My Sky
Looks like your upload is capped at 800kbps, it might be worth giving them a call and asking if they can raise it a bit. You have noise margin in hand so it should be possible. The only problem is that as your speed has been set by DLM, increasing the upload manually may mean the download has to be reduced. It will be up to you whether you think a few kilobits on the upload is worth loosing maybe 1-1.5Mb on the download.
