Sagem Router Issues
Hi all,
Last few data I've had no broadband connection. The lights on my Sagem router blink intermittently and randomly after I do a hard reset but normally settle on the 'tick' light being green and the '@' light being red. Both solid.
Phoned the helpline and the agent I spoke to advised me that it was due to 'not enough power getting to the router'. I'd have though it's either getting power or it's not, but that's by-the-by.
Long story short after getting me to try it on a few different outlets with no joy they're sending me a new power source...ie the plug and cable.
Is this just a fob off or is it actually possible for the router to be getting insufficient power?
As always, cheers for the input.

Re: Sagem Router Issues
It is quite likely correct, the 2504 suffered very badly from failing PSUs. If you have another PSU 12v centre positive, minimum .75a, try that and it may get you going.

Must say I was sceptical when that solution was offered by the helpline but that gives me hope that the replacement PSU solution will work. Either that or it's forking out 40 notes for a new router.
Unfortunately haven't got a spare one so its the waiting game for me. Thank god for 3G :-)
