Broadband Signal drop outs during evening

Hi there, I have been trying to resolve a problem with our broadband signal.

I have been in contact with SKY every day for the past couple of weeks but they don't seem to understand technical issues so am trying on here.

The broadband signal is fine during the daytime, but after 5pm the broadband signal drops on a regular basis throughout the evening.

Please note, this is neither a wireless issue or a speed issue. The actual broadband signal is being dropped and then reconnects.

I have tried to put a complaint in to SKY but that is also impossible to do.


Just received a text from them stating that they have been trying to contact me but as I have not responded they assume the issue is fixed.

I have no missed calls, no emails, no voice mails Nothing.


SKY really suck when it comes to customer service. So anyone any idea about the line drops?

First of all, can you copy and paste your router stats by following this guide: How to get your Sky Router statistics.

If it is dropping around the same time each day, it is likely to be a REIN issue. Street lights, CH etc. Have a look at this article by Kitz, it is one of the best on the subject. ::. Kitz - REIN .::
