Re: WPS button!
Whilst I am not issuing a challenge for those hackers out there, it someone attempts to use the wrong PIN code too many consecutive time, it locks out for a times period. So in the case of the Sky Hub, it isn't as bad a security issue as for most other routers.
As for devices which support WPS, they will vary and all be WiFi n rated. The new Sky WiFi adaptor for the Sky+ HD & SkyHD STBs supports the button. Some Laptops have it too when you connect using Windows. A lot of USB dongles have a WPS button as well.
How do you use it? Press the WPS button on the router, then you press the WPS button on the adaptor or type in the PIN number (on the Connect card supplied with the Sky Hub & written on the back of the router too) where prompted.
The PIN should not be confused with the Wireless Key. If the prompt asks for the Wireless Key, then don't put in the PIN.
(Grey button is WPS button on this adaptor)
(A little more obvious this one)
