Re: Need HELP PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE :/
cant see any problems with line stats should browsing at least 17 to 18 mb mostly likely wireless issue run inssider to see what channels are being used and change your router channels if to many using same ones , if getting same on ethernet , run virus scan or try testing in safe mode press F8 when computer restarting depends on what your using

Re: Need HELP PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE :/
Has this just happened, or are you seeing this regularly? Would be a good idea to check on Sky's service page to see if there are any issues in your area.

Re: Need HELP PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE :/
Hi, thanks mattan, just checked service stats but my exchange is fine. Really think this is down to my wireless connection however my router is getting extremely hot and it's in the hallway, away from any radiators etc? I am talking hot that i can sort of smell it? My hallway is around 18c! so can't be anything to do with room temp. Checked all wires to sockets are ok etc? P.S. Router is the F@ST 2...n one.

Re: Need HELP PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE :/
Can you connect anything by LAN cable (ie a laptop in the hall)? If you can see how that performs. Changing your WiFi channel won't do any harm so try that as well.

Re: Need HELP PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE :/
Could you confirm how you have place the router please?
Ideally it should be placed in the stand as this aids the cooling of the router and helps the WiFi coverage, as shown in the picture below:
This is the same principle for all the Sky routers of this type of design.
PlusNet Fibre since Jan 2021
Previously Sky Fibre & Sky BB since 2010.

Re: Need HELP PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE :/
I'm dumb lol i couldn't find my own post lol. anyway i ran a test and yes it must be wireless issue as the results were downstream 18.12 upstream 1mb and ping was 26ms. Sooooo now i have another question,
I have a netgear dgn2000 i can plug in my living room but is there a way i can get this to run wireless along with my sagem sky unit without connecting them together by ethernet?
Thanks in advance

Hi yes Scubbie that is how i have my router but its almost like i could "fry an egg on it" lol. I know sky want us to keep our routers on but when i am not home i will be unplugging especially at bed time! :0
