Hi
I have noticed that my sky unlimited BB has slowed down recently, on the status page from the router the speed is 1017kbps
I used to connect at around 3mb/s
Please can this be looked into?
Please let me know what further information you require to investigate

Re: Slow Broadband
We need your routers stats - How to get your Sky Router statistics
You should take these from your normal router position and then again from the Test socket. How to test your ADSL in the Master Test Socket

Re: Slow Broadband
I know this probably won't have anything to do with the issues the op is having, but i just noticed the firmware version is the old 5.14.7a4N.

Re: Slow Broadband
Thanks for the reply
I will get the router information tonight and post it here. The router is plugged into the master socket already.

Re: Slow Broadband
That is really bad. If you have a Test socket, plug in there using only the ADSL cable and filter supplied by Sky and post your stats. Test socket link below,
If you do not have an NTE5, unplug everything you have plugged into the phone line, plug the router into the Master socket and post the stats from there.

Re: Slow Broadband
I have the router plugged in to the test socket with a brand new micro filter and nothing else is connected to the socket.
This is the results from doing the stats with that set up

Did you mean the results you already posted were from the Test socket?

Re: Slow Broadband
yeah, when the stats were posted, the router was connected to the master socket, it still is as I haven't changed it since.

Re: Slow Broadband
I'm sorry to keep questioning, but can you confirm that you removed the Master socket faceplate and plugged into the Test socket behind it?
If you did, try a quiet line test by either dialling 1 digit and listening or by dialling 17070 and following the instruction. In both cases your line should be silent except possibly a very faint hiss.
