theres also the 'theory' behind it too - it may help someone else who wants to do this for other reasons... that someone may have no cash at all but may have two Netgears and a couple of ethernet cables...
just so happens my dad dropped off my 834GT tonight, I just need to get my PSU back from my sister (if she hasnt lost it that is and I think she has) - if I get it back I will actually test this with my 834N and 834GT - im sure the DGteam firmware has wi-fi bridging OR repeating so will see what can be done, a while ago I wanted to connect PC in other room with no USB Wi-Fi stick...I could of used this method if it works.. of course I have a 300N stick now and dont need it, but I will test it and see whats possible- Hardware - Netgear DG834Nv1
- Line Attenuation - 27.5db
- Sync Rate - 17,600k
- Noise Margin - 7db
- Latency - 28ms
