Your Connection Details
Testing on your broadband connection began on 23/09/2012 and will be completed within 10 days.
You may notice some variations in your broadband speed and this is normal. We are aiming to give you the best quality experience. Please leave your router on during this time.

Re: Urgent Broadband Help Needed
With that attenuation you should expect;
ADSL2+ Speed Test
We estimate your line is capable of between 9mb to 10mb broadband on an ADSL2+ service. This ADSL2 Line Speed Calculator is a best guess only, as to the broadband speed that maybe possible on your telephone line. The checker provides results of up to 24mb with the data that is made available to us. This is purely for indication only and should not be classed as the Line Speed that you would receive on any ADSL or LLU product from another ISP.
Judging by the fact that your speed has gone up from the default speed that you are connected at, DLM looks like it is underway. Therefore you would have to wait until DLM has finished to find your final speed.
As for the slow downloads etc then that doesn't sound right, your router is connected at 5meg which is a reasonable speed.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Urgent Broadband Help Needed
Is your PS3 on wireless?
I would also check this page, to see if any issues at your exchange.
Sky Help and Support | Service Status
If no issues at your exchange, then it could be locally to your PC as your router is defo synched at 5meg (5023 kbps)
As for getting full speed it depends how DLM looks at your line, but normally it would rise every night until it gets to its highest speed.
Hopefully someone else can chip in.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Urgent Broadband Help Needed
DLM is a process Sky use to get the most stability of your phone line, it normally lasts for about 10 days.
It starts off low and then goes up daily, normally.
The wireless channel maybe busy in your neighbourhood, so a simple change of wireless channel may resolve that side of things for you, however wireless would never match the same as being wired so to speak.
Here's a guide on a Sagem router, they are all pretty much the same to a degree, try changing to a different channel?
Sky User - Sagem F@ST 2504 - How to change the Wireless Channel
You could ring Sky and see if they could do something, but normally they won't until DLM has happened.
Have a read of this also.
