Router changed from MER to PPPoa
Ever since my exchange was enabled last year, my router,Sagemcom F@ST2304 has always connected with MER, but this morning, around 5am, it rebooted/resynced (on it's own) and is now connecting with PPPoa and a different IP range.
I rebooted to see what would happen and it's still PPPoa, albeit with a different IP address.
what's that all about?

Judging by the fact that loads of people are reporting this, it would appear that Sky are switching everyone back to PPPoA
Others have suggested because it is more compatible with the kit that Sky uses at the exchange etc but no one really knows why.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~
