Connection dumping?
I've been looking around on the net, and forums for a potential solution to my issue, and i've found others with similar problems but no actual solid answers.
Essentially, in the last week or so my router has started to dump my internet connection, the wireless connection stays active, however at random times (although quite often when im using skype) the internet will drop out, resulting in a flashing orange light on the router, if I wasnt on an unlimited package i'd have thought it was related to the 30gb install I downloaded around the time that the issues started but surely that isnt the issue.
Has anyone else actually recently experienced this issue in the last week or so and have any idea what may be the actual cause?
Many thanks.

Re: Connection dumping?
There are many reasons why a connection can drop. As tenar has requested, the first step would be for you to post your current router connection stats please.
How to get your Sky Router statistics
Could you also describe how your router is connected to the telephone line (i.e. are you using the Master Socket, any extensions, microfilters or filtered faceplate) and perform a 'quiet line test'.
To do the quiet line test connect a corded telephone to the Test Socket, dial '1' and listen for any noise. Ideally it should be quiet, but a little hiss is acceptable. Any crackling would be bad.
