My broadband went down a few days ago. After calling sky they have ccome to the conclusion that the router is the problem as i was unable to access the internet even when the ethernet cable was used.
They said something about the account not being recognised/authorised despite the account being active for a few months. How likely is it that the router is the problem after only a few months?

did router have solid amber light if so then possible router issue ,but also could be possible interference on signal whats your line stats , if you can login to router
