How do I check my IP address and will it change ?
Can I change my IP address as I had security issues ?
and why does http://192.168.0.1 no longer work or allow my password. I recently changed my password but it does not allow my new password to open. I am not sure what the Http address is for but found it was useful for something on another forum. I have not yet figured it all out.
thanks.

Re: How do I check my IP address and will it change ?
You can sometimes change your IP address by rebooting or power cycling the router.
Try resetting the router by pushing a pin into the reset button for about 10 secs. This should get you into the settings using the default admin/sky. Remember that both are case sensitive.

You should be able to log in using
http://192.168.0.1
and then
admin (username)
sky (password)~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

No
The username is admin and the password is sky
Make sure you reset it for at least 10 seconds or so.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Thanks. I used whatismyipaddress.com and my IP address is the same according to it.
If you still can't get in after a reset, try using another browser(Firefox,IE Chrome etc., for some reason this sometimes works.

Re: How do I check my IP address and will it change ?
Alpine, turn your router off before going to bed, turn on in the morning
Works every time for me (thats if I need a new IP due to testing)
IP's apparently automatically 'recycle' every 3 months
I would prefer a static IP as I use VNC App to view my laptop from my iPhone; therefore I just make a note in my outlook calendar to check my IP every 3 months (whatsmyip) or so
