Insanely poor. Netflix will not even function.
Hi all!
Been with Sky for years, only on a connect package so i do not expect brilliant speeds.
BUT
Here are the stats
Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time WAN PPPoA 49765 45825 0 41 52 7:59:25 LAN 43 0 0 0 0 266:14:28 WLAN 868905 872668 0 82 55 0:11:28 ADSL Link Downstream Upstream Connection Speed 3776 kbps 448 kbps Line Attenuation 33.0 db 19.5 db Noise Margin 19.1 db 28.0 db
Is there anything that can be done as i literally can barely use the internet? I love to game and use streaming services but this is now impossible...
Thanks for your time people! :-)

Re: Insanely poor. Netflix will not even function.
You are never going to get a very high speed on Connect, but in saying that you should be getting the maximum the package provides, 8128kbps. You have a very high noise margin which should allow a lot more. I notice that your WAN time is only 8 hours, which means your connection dropped for some reason. Can you check that your setup is OK ie, you have filters on all connections to the phone line, this includes especially the Sky STB, just in case you have an internal problem. When you have done that, call Sky and tell them you are suffering from very low speeds, can they get on to BT and get it increased.
If you have an NTE5 line box, buying and using a filtered faceplate is highly recommended, as this isolates all your internal wiring.
