Very slow speed (any help welcomed)
Hi,
My speed test has dropped considerably over the last two weeks. On several days I didnt have any internet connection at all.
Below are my test results and here is what I am getting for speedtest:
7/27/2012 6:49 PM GMT 2.122.117.79 1.28 Mb/s 0.54 Mb/s 100 ms
My router is connected to the master socket with nothing else connected to it (and other sockets). I changed microfilters. I have SKY unlimited.

Anything obvious from these results which may be causing problems? I live in South Ken, London

Re: Very slow speed (any help welcomed)
With an attenuation of 45 you should be getting over 7 meg IMO
Have you tried connecting it to the test socket behind the master socket?~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Very slow speed (any help welcomed)
Without trying it you are never going to know. You are getting less than half of the speed that you should be capable of.

Re: Very slow speed (any help welcomed)
Just tested through test socket, same speed result (stats below).
But really I have nothing else apart from router connected to my socket (telephone etc is turned off + I removed the ring wire).
Any ideas which could be causing such slow speed? (I am on Earl's court exchange).

Re: Very slow speed (any help welcomed)
I would ring Sky and tell them that you are in the master test socket, get them to reset your line, you should get some extra speed.
