Re: Looking for some basic VPN advice
The first question will be for what purpose?
Some people use VPNs to link to work, others for viewing US TV shows, others to link family computers.

There's also UnblockUS which I believe is popular with afficionados of US tv sources and accessing US Netflix from UK. No personal experience of it myself though.

Re: Looking for some basic VPN advice
I use UnblockUS for US Netfilx. It works great but it is only a DNS based service, so wouldn't be able to use it for P2P.
I think the VPN service's, installs software on you computer, and you just configure your internet connection to the VPN you are using.
Not sure if you can change the sky router settings so can access it on all your devices. With sky since 1997.
