Re: Broadband speeds and buffering
Update : I have spoken to sky once again about my problem and once again gone through the same stuff and told basicly the same thing as before, this time though they said I could do with Fibre but told them I am on an Exchange Only line then I got the response of well thats to bad looks like im stuck with what I have got. Told them I am thinking of leaving sky as I wasn't happy, response to that was it's your choice.
Haven't been with sky that long and I think they just dont care for their customers or customer satisfaction.

Re: Broadband speeds and buffering
Perhaps it may be raising the question on the Sky forum with regards to Sky's plans for Exchange only Lines?
Will Sky allow you to connect via FTTP at FTTC speeds, for example. This is something that BTO are looking to make available.
PlusNet Fibre since Jan 2021
Previously Sky Fibre & Sky BB since 2010.

Re: Broadband speeds and buffering
Hi Scubbie Just spoke to BT about my situation with being on Exchange only line and they said if I choose to go with BT then they can give me another line that will allow me to get fibre and the cost will be £120 but what they said was call sky back and speak to them as they should be able to do something for me, Just spoke to sky again and explained what I had been told by BT with the EO line and all sky had to say was there is nothing they can do as didnt really understand about eo lines but my exchange is enabled for FTTC so should hopefully be available to me very soon, it's ok them saying that about it being available very soon and my exchange is enabled but i need to get past this eo line.
