Very intermittent ADSL service in Broadstairs
I have had a very intermittent connection today. Loads of drop outs and even when the internet is reachable, it is much slower than normal.
Is anyone aware of a problem affecting the Broadstairs, east Kent area.
Just tried my phone via 3UK and it seems they have an internet access problem also, so this must be a major outage.
I have not seen anything reported.

My area has had problems since about 2 pm, but I just dropped for a couple of minutes then reconnected. The phone was down at the same time.

I have gone to sky's status pages and entered my post code and it says my exchange is not affected.
Something major is wrong as I also could not get online via my smart phone with 3uk.
I can now.
Hopefully the problem is now fixed.

Good, as I was beginning to think it was just me even though I had the same problem with 3uk.
It seems that when the connection is ok, if I overload it and it doesn't take much to do that. Perhaps downloading something around 120k per second, the connection will be lost.
Something is very fragile it seems at the moment.
I won't mind if it's because BT are activating my fibre cabinet so I can place my order!

I don't know if the cause of this is affecting Sky customers as well...

Could be connected.
There does seem to be a capacity problem.
If I use it lightly, then it seems mostly ok.
Put any strain on it and it will quickly collapse.
