If your line is OK DLM may drop the noise margin a bit and push your speed up. Might be worth a try.

Going to give it a go, how long after you request to be put back on DLM does it take to kick in?

That's hard to say, it could be immediately or if the agent does not know what he/she is doing, a few days to never. Just call and hope you get someone who knows what they are doing.
