DHCP failing to provide ip address wirelessly to Win XP netbook
Hi all confusion all round here. Finally dragged my mum in to 21st century and got phone/sky+hd/bb installed. Problem we're having is her netbook win xp refuses to connect. Even though it reports excellent signal and Connected, web pages time out with DNS errors. Ive tracked it down to the netbook isnt being given an ip address by the DHCP.
A win7 laptop and two android phones connect straight away but this one will only go via ethernet. After 6 hrs struggling with it im bushed. But cant leave it as shes on the £17 package because of her remote location so its got to be doing something. I had a mini brainwave just now it could be its a sagam N and win xp drivers dont understand that??
Any ideas would be great! Cheers
Frank
